The lunar mission has successfully gathered lunar soil samples and returned them earth — it is old news, mission accomplished. The next intriguing news will be from the Mars mission where an orbiter, lander, and rover will provide scientific data. The orbiter is now undergoing orbit refinement around Mars as well as conduct recon. The landing will begin sometime in late March followed by the rover a few days later.

For example, China landed the first research lander on the far side of the moon snd is in communication with it, China has already retrieved lunar rocks and samples from another lunar mission and is now studying them, China has a major space probe orbiting Mars and taking ultra high resolution images mapping Mars before landing their roving probe which is also now in orbit, China is about to launch a manned space station into earth orbit, and China built the largest radio telescope ever called FAST which is capable of hearing signals from the edge of the observable universe, including signals from advanced civilizations.
