The Chinese economy's ability to emerge from the global financial crisis seemingly unscathed while the United States slowly climbs out of recession bolsters a widespread image of a strong People's Republic of China (PRC) rising against the backdrop of a declining United States of America. Is China's rise to economic power inevitable? Former U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce, Frank Lavin argues that China's continued growth in power and affluence will bring challenges but not a new Cold War.

Recently in March, China leader Xi  visited France and Germany. The welcome from European countries is a clear indication that China's status and policy is now well received in Europe. In comparison, Japan Abe's trip to Europe is not so welcome. I hope US choose the right working partner to build a better world.

Since history memorable,  China has never colonized anyone country in the world.  Unless to people with special agenda,  China only just wants to be respected as an independent country and nobody should try to intimate it. During WW2 even Japan could not conquer China when China was so “backward” in everything. You should know for what reasons Japan invaded China - and what most people now do is to choose to ignore it. Perhaps this is the WORLD JUSTICE. China must be strong militarily in order to stay safe - and there is no question about it,  whether it is a Democratic country or a Communist country. It is too bad to note that.

US did not get rid of its slavery and segregation policy for nearly 200 years.  This is how society developed.  One could not force a situation, environment into being but to let it evolved in the best possible way without anarchy, chaos and disruption to the normal function of society.

Chinese psyche of statecraft - having the "mandate of heaven" to rule, it has the obligation to take care of its people.  Hence, it becomes burdened with the need to take care of its masses (first and foremost), instead of territorial ambitions.   Thus, throughout its history, we observe that premium had been placed upon territorial preservation/integrity.

Japan is desperate . . . it is trying hard to form a 3 country face-to-face meeting between Japan, US and S Korea which S Korea rejects upfront.  This is politicking trying to get S Korea on its side but S Korea could see through Japan's evil intention.
