I was excited by this initially, but it kinda looks bad. Maybe even worse than Smite aside from lighting. If you are gonna go for better graphics, might as well add a bit more realism.

People keep defending the disappointment. Many people are 50/50 with this announcement it's not just haters, it seriously is a disappointment for many people. I'm happy for the new engine, the ceiling is higher for possibility. There are alot of people who want to see new variation from the 1st game, verticality, various maps, etc.

I play dota 2, I've seen smite 1 gameplay however the overall aesthetic of the graphics and visuals turned me off from ever really trying smite. I came here thinking, "Oh wow a UE5 3rd person MOBA this is gonna be sick!" - the graphics are still just, idk, meh?
