We recently visited with Titan Forge Studios to learn about SMITE 2 and the role community feedback plays in creating content and influencing gameplay. We also heard firsthand how Unreal Engine 5 features such as Niagara, Control Rig, and the Gameplay Abilities System have transformed development into a more streamlined, collaborative process.

Had so much fun learning this system, it really helps create modular, reusable gameplay systems - super fun stuff.

This is a massive upgrande and I congratulate Hi Rez on the amazing work!

I only have one thing in my wishlist regarding animation, that I have no idea if will be added in the future or not: facial animation. Unlike most Mobas, where the camera is vertical and so devs can be forgiven to not give as much character to their heroes/champions with facial animations and the like (since they are very small and they'd be hard to see anyway, since you are looking down from up), a moba like Smite really has the potential to give greater personality and feel to their gods with some good animations to, really give life to its characters. And right now many seem to seem them, with faces with little, or no animation at all (look at Anhur in this same video).

That to me feels like an extreme wasted opportunity to make the Gods even more charming and reletable.

I am not allow to talk about the Game, but a certain new MMO coming into testing could benefit from attacks & damage system like seen here.

Smite needs to sell their b. G. S more vermoba, teamwork and logistics. It's ahead of the curve compared to other games, and it really helps immersion and characters

They use only Blueprints? Or also C++ ? I'm just join your community and started learn Unreal Engine, came from Unity... And this is a hell for me 😅

After watching this, I’m more excited to start learning and experimenting with UE5 instead of playing Smite 2. Am I the only one?

The game looks absolutely horrid. Like, no way they used UE5 to make something akin to the aesthetics of a mobile-game….I wouldn’t play this game even if I was payed.
