There's something so haunting and sad about Buzz's Dungeon, it has no right going this hard for a first boss theme. There's something unexpectedly brutal about shoving this poor mindless transformed Rhynoc to his death drowning in lava.

I remember never being able to beat this boss. When I finally did I got to mid day gardens and was like “What?” Because I thought sunrise spring was the whole game. I was happy to have been wrong about that.

I almost started crying when i heard this song. I'm 24, man i miss my childhood

This track to me was always the most disturbing. It sounds really meloncholy and sad.

This boss always struck me as the most ... deformed. As in they're all changed rhynocs and this one seemed the most grotesque and extreme, like if a person suddenly changed into a were-wolf permanently and little of their original personality was left. Only simplstic and strong feelings, nothing nuanced. Similar to how we thought Cavemen might have spoke. Desperate, angry, brutish and sadistic. Like the sad story of a person changed for the worst and eventually dies a painful struggling death.

Considering how light hearted Spyro is on onset, it's always impressed me how the music could make me feel. I'll never forget this track.

I still remember playing this level when I was like 3 and getting too scared to face him so I used to get my Dad to do it for me hahaha

As a kid, this song actually made me believe that I was fighting a terrifying boss and dam it was scary ... i miss this game :')

For the first boss in the game, Buzz's theme and the fight itself is actually quite intense! Even the background for the arena looks like you're both fighting in hell!

With the music, it gives you an idea how this used to be an intelligent creature with the ability of having their own thoughts and feelings only to be maliciously transformed into a beast several times until they’re this form, losing almost all of who they were. That’s what I get from this music. Like it’s an internal battle going on in the Rhynoc or Buzz’s mind.

This level taught me the meaning of bravery. I'm not sure I can ever remember any other time in my life where i felt such fear and yet chose to persist. I remember tearing up I was so scared when he went into "buzzsaw mode" :( i was sweating by the time I beat him, and I was actually too rattled to feel any pride in the victory until some time had passed.

I remember being blown away when I first heard this as a 5 year old. At that point I had never heard anything like this in a video game. Seems a bit stupid to me now, but I still love this song, and you wouldn't believe the rush of determination it gave me when I first heard it. That was like the first time I experienced determination of any sort and it was awesome

I remember being terrified of this boss like everyone until I started falling in love with the music from this fight, I would often replay this level just to hear it. This was and always will be my favorite Spyro boss fight music

I feel like this fight is really dark when you think about it. Buzz was originally just a gardener transformed into a monster to kill.
It's sad because that mage girl didn't even seem like she wanted to do it so she just picked someone. Just sad.
