Whenever I've asked about stocks, people just start explaining different kinds and how they can make you some money ... but nobody told me specifically how or where to *buy* them. It's like being told about this great college with all these degree programs and clubs and activities ... but nobody will give you the application form. They forget that if you've never done it or seen anyone do it, then you need very basic How To instructions.
