The D11 reigns supreme. It dominates the market with unsurpassed reliability, spares availability and a whole industry supporting it.

Shantui completely knocked off the Komatsu D475a. I was fortunate enough to watch a D575a about 20 years ago as they brought one in to rip a project built on lava cap. You could not blast as the shockwave is just absorbed by the lava cap so they brought in a D575a. Amazing to see one in person!!!

Should’ve pointed out that they get filled with fuel daily, sometimes twice

My father was an operating engineer for 42 years the largest he ever operated was a Cat D10 if I remember right when I was around 12 years old I was allowed to go down on his job site and ride on one of the bigger bulldozers I think it was a Cat d9 or d8 and it was pretty darn big powerful and fast the one I think it was a d8 had no blade on the front and they used it to pull the pan I'll never forget riding full speed with my dad on that d8 it was an awesome feeling 😊

Thanks for this video it brought back memories

The D11 will cost more than 1 million USD. Try 2-3 million USD.
You also did NOT mention the height, width, and weight of the Komatsu D575. It lists at 168 tons! 😮

Gotta remember many of these machines run 24/7 in the mining business.

Most of the Alcoa 575's have burnt to the ground with only a couple left, the reason they were used on remote was because they were so uncomfortable to operate that it was the only option.

That’s impressive, the truck suspension sprung back after getting run over

In my opinion, the 958 hp Komatsu dozer is still relatively small in its hands .. while a train alone can produce 3000 hp

The machines are really very efficient. But they are very foreign to my country. No one brought them to work in my hometown.

Way out on prices. New D11 well over 3million US .near 6 million Australian.
Just saying.
