Why I'm Getting a Nintendo Switch Lite Even Though I Have a Switch

Original Switch is portable and Switch Lite is portable.

Honestly, Switch Lite is very similar to the original Switch. You don't have to spend $200 on Switch Lite if you already have the original switch.

No offence, but if you already own a Switch then why buy the lite version? Like that's a bit of a pointless move. Fair enough if you want a secondary Switch that's easy to travel with, but the OG Switch can do that as well + the OG switch can do more as well.

I always wanted a handheld, and the OG Switch fails at that point. It's very uncomfortable to hold, heavy, joycons are a pain, it overheats, poor battery life. Im gonna buy a Lite, transfer account and saves and sell the original.

I play switch for handheld and couch co-op. So even though the handheld bit is fine the fact the controllers don't come off is a big no no for me

I don't see a point in getting a Switch Lite if you already own a normal Switch Miranda it seriously not that heavy at all I know you're a small girl but really the Switch isn't that heavy at all.

I heard it appeals to more of younger audiences, I'm 19 and I plan on buying it when I accumulate the money. Reasons for this is I never had the original switch, and since I have a Xbox one I won't actually be using docked mode that often.

I admit that the Switch Lite looks cool, but I really want Nintendo to make a Switch Pro.
