Really cool KISS interview from backstage in 1976. Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss, the original KISS lineup. Backstage, getting ready for a show. Putting on makeup. Very casual. Peter is talking about dressing in drag. Ace is talking about playing in small pubs.

I love how Ace is always just this humble guy who is happy to be there like he doesn't even know how great a guitarist he is or how huge Kiss is.

I was in the city with this German band, back in the late eighties, the lead guitarist introduce me to this guy named Ace, We sit and talked for an hour or so, had a couple beers, I excused myself and left to see my buddies band play, on the way home they ask me what Ace and I talked about, I said my home town, stuff like that, they said Wilburr you don't have a clue to whom you were sitting with, Ace is the guitarist for Kiss, I said, oh shit, I ask him what he did, Ace said to me, I catch gigs here and there...and we went back to talking about my home town..in Maine..

I saw Ace on a club tour in New Port Richey Florida it was awesome Ace Frehley's Comet.

My favorite thing about Ace besides his guitarsmanship is his laugh. Maybe he should have played Joker in Batman.

Kiss was my first concert, I was 13 - 1981.
Gene Simmons breathing fire was insane!
I still remember Ace' solo under the multicolored lights playing his 3 pickup smoking Les Paul. I'll never forget that!
