I sincerely hope this game's existence is justified by once - just once - the snitch running headlong into a tree or something and someone immediately shrugging and saying "hmm, I guess snitches do get stitches" and then everyone could put away their brooms and be like "hey guys we did it, the longest stupidest joke setup the world has ever seen, and now we can put the brooms down and go back to real sports"
