Actual price itself does not concern me as much as the fact that they probably do quite a lot of research into how much to price something and its probably very accurate.
They probably could have sold this for 2000$ but if they saw market is willing to pay 4000$…that is scary.

For example yesterday I was looking into what M12 tool I could buy since now I transitioned from Bosch 12V to Milwaukee and I saw bandfile and was like oh cool, couldnt be so expensive, its not a complicated tool after all.
Oh boy was I wrong, 360€ for a bare tool. Then I bought a hammer drill for 155€. If you take that logic you ask your self like, both are fairly similar tools, how could one be over 100% more expensive.
Only thing I would say is volume, if they knew they would have so much demand for bandfile as for hammer drill they would be priced similarly.

Are you joking $4000 dollars!!!! There is awsome winches for $400 and down my god $4000 u could buy every part in that thing 5 times still not have that much in it
