I have a craftsman and Skil corded 7 1/4 circulars saws from 30 + years ago and are going strong. I picked up a Ridgid 61/2 circular saw which I thoroughly enjoy especially how lite it is. I have never operated any other than directed than blade left. I am also dominate right eye which stands to the opinion. You can better sight better or follow a straight line with your dominate eye. Right-handed and dominate right eye-that is me. Note: I am only a DIYer. Since, most of the population are right-handed then made for the masses.

Id Love to see this saw vs. the Flex 24v 6-1/2" In-Line saw that btw cuts 2-9/16" deep which is deeper than Most 7-1/4" saws

Waiting for this to go in stores. My m12 along other tools were stolen. I like the position on the blade as a right handed. (To be on the left) It just feels natural to the body and visibility. As I’m not a framer I occasionally cut mood to frame showers (I do tile) and instead of buying the m12 fuel for 170. I rather put it towards a more powerful tool yet smaller than the 7 1/4. Can’t wait.

Milwaukee saws all have a problem with their switches, very frustrating. Only a matter of time before they fail.

Only tool i was truly dissapointed with by milwaukee so far. Would rather use a corded saw.
