Can we leave filming random strangers in public. Like you can stage weird encounters if you want, and if you stage them you can make them even weirder. But Please no more filming strangers for online clout in 2024.

Seeing so many under-21s getting major plastic surgery makes me sad. I fell into BBL YouTube a couple weeks ago, and this one chick in particular, who is ONLY 20, had so many procedures done already. She made a vlog of her BBL recovery, which was actually pretty funny & interesting to watch, so I got sucked in. But damn, girl. She’d gotten maybe 4 procedures done that one day alone, including the aforementioned BBL. Her doctor kept pointing out “flaws” that he could “fix”🙄 She looks absolutely amazing, but she already did beforehand, too. It’s just a lot of invasive surgery for someone who’s freshly out of their teens. Especially when body trends change so rapidly, and in a year or two you’re gonna be told your new body is no longer the “ideal”.

And kids & luxury beauty…ugh. Seeing these 10yr olds b e g g i n g for Drunk Elephant & Charlotte Tilbury as Christmas gifts was a depressing end to 2023.

The gym culture has pretty much gave people now a reason to be insecure and to not attend the gym. Too many weirdos in there recording themselves and posting it online to either mock or inflate their ego. A few act inappropriate by how their dress or bothering people “for content” etc I can see why people are building their own gym home. People are too entitled when it comes to public spaces that they place themselves in. Funny how in the past people would say “nobody cares what youre doing at the gym” now it’s an actual thing where they do.

We also need to regulate visiting a dermatologist instead of relying on social media to tell us what is right for our skincare. Fight the power!

The two men you showed as the example for doing good funny vows were actually adorable, like I for real genuinely laughed. But the one dude from a few months back was just vile, that’s a man that secretly hates that woman and gave her a shut up ring so he absolutely wanted to humiliate her. Her vows were even more telling than his. She really thinks this below average in every way man is her Prince Charming when he’s basically Gaston. It’s sad she defended that crap

I always laugh and cry a little when gym weirdos calling people lazy and weak willed, cuz it's ableism. Cuz I'd tear something working out at too high intensity cuz of a *genetic disorder* like damn bro, just say you want disabled people gone. Plus these kinds of people can often push and struggle with dysmorphia and ED and act like they're paragons of health. So strange.

I started my vows with "if I start crying it's just because I can't believe I'm marrying a Packers fan" it was funny. Everyone laughed and then it helped me be able to smile before I got into the mushy stuff. You can do something funny without disrespecting your partner.

I hope we can leave behind the whole idea of disorders or illnesses being “quirky”. It’s so frustrating how people continue to self diagnose themselves without any actual evidence; other than experiencing isolated symptoms that most people will normally experiencing during their lifetime. It’s like now everyone has ADHD, which is very upsetting to those with ADHD like myself. It’s not “cute” or “quirky”. It makes academics and day-to-day life incredibly difficult, but now it’s apparently this widespread issue that everyone has. I feel it invalidates the experiences of those who do have ADHD and it’s harder to have people take me seriously when I tell them I have ADHD. I know many people don’t have adequate access to healthcare and may not be able to receive an assessment and/or a diagnosis. However, you can’t just claim to have something you don’t without any evidence or a diagnosis. I really hope we will be done with the “trend” that should have never been one in the first place.

✨🎉HAPPY NEW YEARS🤩✨ Thank you to everyone who watched, interacted and supported my content this year! Lots of love to you! I had a lot more fun this year on youtube and next year will be even better, I'm planning to do more makeup & storytime videos- as well as getting back into making music like in my old days (a snippet of a song i'm working on is at the very end of this video!)- what are some things you are looking forward to in 2024? Let me know, and I hope you all have a lovely new years! ✨✨✨

Thank you for highlighting that people are developing these insecurities and trying to “fix” them MUCH earlier than they used to. I work for Drunk Elephant and a lot of my job is steering kids away from resurfacing serums they won’t need for like 15 years. Whenever I tell them that the line wasn’t created with kids in mind they look at me like I’m insane. It’s meant to make older people feel youthful, you’re already youthful, YOU’RE NINE DAMMIT.

Also- Happy New Year✨🦆

I got married this year and this has been only time I've seen my now husband tear up in his life during the vows. Those were the standard vows and it was still enough to show me that he cared, I can't imagine being so humiliated in front of my family and friends.

Idk if you’ll say this in the video since I haven’t watched it yet but we DEFINITELY need to leave some of these diets in 2023. No, eating a bunch of fruit the whole day and then eating a bunch of actual food at the end of the day is NOT good for your body. Don’t pretend it is.
Also happy New Year’s Eve! :D

I was in an Ulta beauty a few weeks ago, and this mom was asking a sales associate for help shopping for her kids. her kids wanted their first skin care routines and I just remember the sales associate telling her that kids are getting into full skincare routines, and even retinol and tretinoin so so early and she said that shes had kids in their early preteens already looking for anti-aging skincare and she was talking about how scary it is to see.

The gym stuff is so real like this is already a space of anxiety. I used to go to a fitness centre where there were a lot of senior members because they were always chill and kind… then some girl started working out w her phone on a tripod to I think call with a trainer ???? But even potentially being in the background of that made me nervous

Thank you for talking about body image and insecurity. My body and, especially, my face changed dramatically after I turned 24. I suddenly had cheekbones and a waist, and hadn't done anything differently.
I'm Gen X and I worry that social media has made our lives performative. Everything is about what others think of us, or what we think of them. How we look, how many views our videos get, how many compliments we get in a day, etc.
So my goal is to try to be kinder and more patient.

I think it would be good if some gyms offered sections for people who want to film content/don’t care if they’re being filmed and sections for people who don’t want to film/be filmed.

OMG, 35lb and balanced lab work?! 2023 may have flown by, but you accomplished a lifetime in your health goals!!! Seriously, that’s amazing! You gotta be proud of that!

P.S. Hydrate 2024! My 2023 was the year of the dog - my pup has a number of chronic health issues that also affect behavior and her health and behavior are both better than ever, though it’s still a journey! 🦆

Cozy cardio is how I've lost 45 lbs. I lift weights and do other little exercises, but cardio is my priority. One, heart problems in the family, two, it's gotten me this far, why change
