Why do Engineers hate Humans?

I thought I'd give my ideas and theories on why the Engineers would hate the Human race. I also have a bit about why they would return to Earth, even if not to wipe out the Humans. Lets take a look at some reasons for the hate, and other reasons they may use to visit the planet. I'll also look at the Engineers from Prometheus and Alien Covenant from Ridley Scott.

A theory I heard was that the Engineers in prometheius where Rouge engineers that decided to do it on their own and the rest of engineer society was more nurtreal or indifferent twards humans than outright hateful

well, David said the pathogen came in many forms and we don't know for sure if the black goo that was on the Juggernaut that Janek brought down was the same as the goo that was on the other Juggernaut that David & Shaw took from the neighboring pyramid on LV-223. There were at least (5) pyramids in that area on LV-223 and David said there were "many other" ships. It would stand to reason that other forms of the goo are on LV-223. The effect the goo had on Fifield in the first pyramid was much different than the effect the goo that David dropped had on the humanoids in Covenant. Fifield mutated. The humanoids in Covenant immediately gave birth to creatures upon contact with the goo and they were frozen solid in place. So if the Juggernaut Janek brought down was full of the goo that infected Fifield then its safe to assume that goo was going to be unleashed on humanity.

I am curious as to what type of goo the other three nearby pyramids housed.

Yeah I like this idea and theory why the engineers went to earth we do need a tie in with the predator it makes so much sense this answers why the engineers probably wanted to find the predators because the predators where the same as them and they either had a conflict or history with each others race

As you mentioned, the Engineers may have planned on tweaking Humans to their own likes or advancing them.
Probably at first, we were created, Engineers invited us by having Homo Sapiens draw some sort of maps.
It took too long for Human Beings to rise and emerge from their planet and visit the Engineers therefore, the Engineers planned a return visit to tweak Humans in catapulting them a huge step forward into Technology for them to be able to Finally Visit the Engineers.
As the process began, the Engineers came across some sort of issues which caused the last Engineer to put himself into Hyper Sleep.
Once he awoken from his Sleep, he then meets familiar creatures that once were a primitive race, now asking for Immortality meanwhile another Human points a weapon towards his direction.
If i were the Engineer, i'd get mad as well!
