I want DecaPolice. It was announced 2-8-23. And with Layton, I've talked with many people on Facebook who hope that Level 5 would bring the original six games to the Switch. Along with Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney.

If level five thought that Decapolice needed more time in the oven, power to them for keeping up with their own standards and having some integrity.
The Switch 2 theory is a sound one; its not a bad idea to piggy back off a console's release and get yourself listed as a launch title.




(side note, that Furigana looks promising af for people who struggle with Kanji. I know it was designed so that kids could read it, but still )

I wouldn't rule out the next console but basing it on well they never did this before, as at one point they never did directs before doesn't have to mean anything.

I think they also have trouble scoring a publishing/distribution deal in the West since stating wanting to go multi-platform… Forgoing Nintendo with their translation and marketing power is a huge hurdle.

9:41 The battle system in Yo-kai Watch 4 is not something "completely new". It's a revamp of the Action-RPG battle system from the spinoff Yo-kai Watch Blasters games (in which the battle system was really good), so they did actually try this system in a spinoff (like you were saying) before putting it in a mainline title. While it wasn't perfect, it was definitely a cool evolution of the 3DS games and was perfect for the upgrade to Switch. With the jump to a new console, it was definitely fitting to have a refresh of the battle system.

They also already tried a spin on the Yo-kai Watch 2 battle system in the 3rd game, so I'm interested in how you would've improved on it even further. I personally think that 4's battle system works really well, and actually makes the game stand out compared to previous titles.

The battle system in 4 was definitely not a factor that caused it to flop - it was most likely due to other factors, including waning interest in the franchise.

I have to disagree with Yo-kai Watch putting LEVEL 5 on the map. In fact, that's the one series I'd say they run into ground and won't recover (in terms of games & the anime) and the world has moved on. Anyway, LEVEL 5 really had their big boon in the sixth generation of consoles with Dark Clouds 1 & 2, Rogue Galaxy, and most of all: Dragon Quest VIII, still hailed as one of the best PS2 games ever! I trust Decapolice will have their consistent seal of quality on it.

Would be weird if we get a Ni No Kuni 3 game that takes places in a different timeline/universe, that get sent to the other world once more. Don’t get me wrong, still love Ni No Kuni, but would love a new story that still takes place years later of the Ni No Kuni world.

Player. I heard this on YouTube that. The Brazil 🇧🇷 Journalist said keep an open mind. The switch 2 might be revealed this month or might not. If Nintendo doesn't reveal the switch 2 this Month. Nintendo could be waiting until Sony announces their ps5 pro console first. The ps5 pro console is supposed to be announced soon. I also heard this on YouTube that Sony is going to have a State of Play around the Tokyo game show event later this month.
