I think it's more likely for a Xenosaga remake. Monolith would probably want to change a lot of the lore to fit in with Xenoblade. Also they would probably get a chance to write the story how they really wanted since it was originally supposed to be six games but got cancelled midway.

The Eng audio track cut for Baten Kaitos Remaster could actually be somewhat justified seeing as the new ai upscaled backgrounds are bound to eat up a lot of memory, especially if they're upscaled above 1080p.

I would like a xenosaga hd collection but i doubt we would get all 3 games maybe they could do a metroid prime treatment with the first game but idk either way hope it shows up on the switch one of these days

the xenosaga things seem like just a reference. A big one but still just a reference. Kosmos was already in 2 so it'd be weird to have her back for some weird reboot after the world is reformed imo. I think the series is just moving forward to a mostly unknown future, maybe with some xenosaga inspired elements though
