Decapolice is like a combination of: Persona, Astral Chain, Ace Attorney... And I love all of these games! I think after Zelda TOTK this is my game of the year if it lives up to the expectation I placed upon it.

Level5 had a few rough years due to they attempting to move their franchises to mobile, and failing quite badly at it.

But now they are back in consoles, which seems to be a far better fit for their IPs. And boy, am I looking forward to their comeback!

Yep, I immediately saw a connection/inspiration with Astral Chain, Ace Attorney and even a bit of Persona with the "other world" and the other forms they take when in the metaver...I mean virtuaworld.

I think this year is the year of mystery games on Switch. The port of Ghost Trick, and the new exclusives Rain Code and Deca Police and they all seem to play different too. If you like mystery games seems like Switch is where you got to be this year

Decapolice is something i really want to get, haven't been interested in a police theme game since astral chain(wich i still want a sequel btw) and this seems like a very good game with great peronslity too, hope it comes to the us very soon.

This game looks great, I have a backlog of stuff to play on switch (currently playing throught Xenoblade 3) but this game definitely looks unique and fun, really like the style.

After Tears of the Kingdom, I'm gonna look forward to Rain Code, Crymachina and Decapolice. All three of them scream the stylish design that I've been looking for.

Also, I know that I've been saying this each time there's an Ys topic but I REALLY hope that most of Ys X's enemies react to the weight of your attacks.
I understand that the franchise's combat has been fast and chaotic but when they transitioned into 3D, it always looks and feels like you're button mashing upon pressing the attack button.

I thought I was the only person psyched about DecaPolice after watching that Nintendo Direct. Good to hear this title's gonna have an audience because I wanna see this one win.

Also, who did the character design? The style is kinda Studio Trigger-ish to me.
