How to Spot a LIAR by their Language - Lying and Language - The Language of Lies
How to identify when people are lying by listening to the language that they use. Liars very often do very specific things when they're telling lies, and if you are smart and listen carefully to what they say and the words they choose. You will know whether they are lying or not. This video looks at the techniques liars used to try to convince you of the truth of their lies. Liars like to hedge their statements. They will repeat your original question verbatim. They will make confusions about a pronoun and use you or one instead of I. They tend not to use contractions when they deny something.

Confrontation is a seed for change, but with liars it’s hard to get anywhere because they’ll just lie. I remember sitting at the Starbucks not so long ago, and there was a woman speaking too loud to someone on her phone. She spoke with such confidence to the person on the other end how she was at somewhere else alone, though she was sitting with a man at the time drinking coffee.

Detectives have to master interpersonal skills. An experienced investigator can easily spot a liar.

To the second point, I actually like to say "did not" and "could not" etc. way more than the "didn't" and "couldn't". It might be unnatural to others but to me it is the RIGHT way to speak and write.

Can we use between for many people? I think "between" can be used for "two people" and "among" for "more than two"?
Eg. Share it between you two.
Share it among yourselves.
Difference between two.
Difference among them.

Thanks for helping us.
