Nice to see the smaller versions reviewed for women. Disappointed the FR 965 doesn't come in a smaller size so trying to decide betweenthe 265s and the epix 42mm

With so many people raving about the Epix Pro 51mm it seemed like the best choice, but knowing the battery life isn’t so great on the 42mm might make my decision between Fenix 7s Pro and Epix Pro 42 easier. The colours are popping so much more than my Fenix 6S. Damn. Maybe I'll give the Epix a try. Flash light looks damn useful. I thought it's only limited to the larger models. LOVE IT!

Thanks for the detailed description of the color! As you noted, most of the online photos look silver, but your videos were helpful is showing just how gold it is.

I wish there was a natural titanium version of the 42mm, but will go for the DLC gray/black. Gold is not part of my color palette. YMMV.

I bought the 47mm for my girlfriend as the battery life was a little too low on the 42mm, i hope its not too big for her! Nice to hear a womans perspective on this watch.

This is silly but I am so torn on COLORS of all things. I prefer silvers and greys in general, so the silver bezel on the white standard one looks great to me, but I'm worried the stark white case will stand out too much. On the flip side, I find the all black version a bit boring but perhaps a safer option. The lack of contrast doesn't appeal to me but it might work better with different bands. And then there's the soft gold color, which looks lovely in photos but too gold for me in videos. I wish I could take the graphite gray case with silver bezel from a fenix 7s watch and transplant it onto a epix pro 2 watch. That would be perfect. 😂

I agree!! Why aren't there more color options besides black.. brass... and white/ silver? Garmin makes their stuff for men for real.

How is the 42mm screen when checking maps? Is it small, or is it large enough to see all the features? I am debating between the 42mm and 47mm. I'd like to buy the 42mm, but I'm worried about not being able to see the map details.

I've had my epix 2 pro 42mm for about a month now. Overall I love it, I have similar issues with the watch faces from the store, namely the numbers will switch from filled in to just outlined sometimes. But my battery life has been great, I typically track 4 weight sessions and 3-4 gps tracked exercises a week and I get 7-8 days battery life. That is with brightness low and AOD disabled.
