I'm back !! Kevin you have shown the way to boil eggs. I said I would report back and I am very happy to comment on this video. So many recipes truly fail. Many say to not add salt. The other people who have hard boiled egg videos need to watch this and just do it. It works just like Kevin says. Omg!!! You have changed my life!! I've been so intimidated by boiled eggs so long now because it's so frustrating to peel them they are stuck to the shell and the other day I tried to cook them less time and they were runny so I tried to cook them for longer and I actually burned them. Thank you, Kevin!!!  I now know how to make perfect boiled eggs!  Boil in salt water, cool with water, refrigerate, tap each egg & roll to peel!!!  I'm SO HAPPY!

I just watched your vid and went and did the exact same thing as you !!
I heard baking soda but not salt .
I just used the salt .
They peeled like it was nothing and cooked perfect !!

I've never boiled an egg in my life before but this turned out better than my mom's in terms of peeling. Thanks for being the only person that doesn't include ice, i don't have ice and I was really wondering if just cold water works
