better method if you don't like them slightly runny: put eggs in cold water, as soon as the first sign of a boil is seen remove from heat and cover for 17 minutes. put in cold water. perfect yellow delicate yolk. no green or toughness

If you knock a bit of shell out of each end of the end, and blow hard enough, it comes out without peeling it. I use to do this at work when i had boiled eggs and people thought i was nuts…..
