Thank you so much. I like to watch orchid videos to learn something, not just look at pretty flowers as some people post. Your channel is one of the best on the subject for education and learning. Thank you again. I always learn from you!!!

You Rock! I absolutely love to see your passion for orchids (and other plants as well I’m sure)! Orchids in general are truly amazing plants that reward with amazing blooms; provided they are given the correct care. Having come from a scientific background, which requires me to ask the how’s and why’s to natures beauty, I find both ocean and plant life to be astonishing (evolution )! You truly exhibit the passion and care that these orchids command. I enjoy watching your videos and seeing the progression that ensues as a result of your TLC with these remarkable plants! Keep on with this excellent work!

great video. I have a gecko terrarium I no longer use so I was considering converting it for orchids, but I'm not really certain on what orchids I should put in there. any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. I live in the uk so I'm kinda limited to what I can obtain however schwerter in germany may be of some use.

Hi Maria. been thinking about the way you cut the plastic bottles. by using two bottles you can greatly increase the length. by cutting the bottom longer and the top again longer. Does that make sense. I hope you do.
Happy growing.
Danny.

Oh Maria, You are so funny, I do love to watch your video's, They always cheer me up and make me smile, I have a Miltoniaopsis Swiss beauty which look just like the nelly isler in a bottle, When I got it it had 4 or 5 bulbs And lots of leaves, now it has one, For whatever reason 1 by1 they all went brown and rotted for no reason, now i have 1 bulb with 1 leaf, So i thought i'd try the bottle, nothing so far, but it's only been a few days, So fingers crossed, Hows banana rama And the twins doing lol :)))

thanks for sharing this rescue-terrarium trick.
I have a question: do you think would be ok to use clay pebbles in stead of sphag??
