How to Make Orchid Terrariums & Mini Green Houses

In this video we show you how to make terrariums and mini green houses to grow, rescue and promote new growths on orchids. I share with you many different creations I have made and explain their purpose.

Love this idea for bigger orchids. I also use plastic container of cookies. I spread sphagnum moss and put the orchid there especially minis that requires high humidity. I rescued stressed bulbos using this method.

I had no idea this was a thing but I'm glad it is. I have nothing but two green leaves and a rotten medium but something told me to just "dump" her into a plastic container with moss, poke some holes and let her heal herself then youtube "recommended" this video. I hope I can save this plant.

With the "high rise" you could make as many levels as you want by weighing down the "ground floor" with stones or even creating an X shaped frame with a circular center section that the "high rise" sits in for stability...

Maria, I have a large Chysis that has a mature broken piece. Instead of throwing out the piece when I remove it from the plant I would like to try and see if I can propagate it. Do you have any simple procedures that I can try with this? Thanks for your help.

How to re grow orchid bulbs (the bulbs has no leaves) to get them new leaves?

I'll have to keep this in mind the next time I have a tall plant I need to promote roots on. For the one that you had the extra bottom piece with the holes poked in it, could you just use a top flipped upside down? Maybe stick a cotton ball in the neck? (I'm a little lazy, poking all those holes might drive me 🍌🍌)
