Exploring Uncharted Territory Gone WRONG | Wildcat Cave Incident

In a recent video, we recounted a harrowing tragedy involving John Edward John at Nutty Putty Cave in 2009. John's misadventure began when he took a wrong turn, leading him into a perilous, narrow passage where he became trapped in darkness. However, what many don’t realize is that John wasn't the first to confront such desperation.
Here at the Faculty of Truth, we uncover another captivating story from 1965 featuring Morris Baetzold, whose experience mirrors John's. Similar to Nutty Putty cave incident, Morris made a wrong turn, finding himself wedged in a tight crevice with no escape. What followed was a gripping 25-hour rescue mission, forever etching the dangers of underground exploration into history.

I’m glad I quit caving on the day I was born.

I like watching these for the animation. It relates a sense of being there. And then it's such a relief to look around the room and realize I'm not in the cave.

I don’t understand how anyone would willingly explore caves where you gotta squeeze crawl through sections. F all that noise.

I just don't get it. What is the attraction of squeezing yourself through some tiny hole to get a view of dirt and rocks. That's when you can see anything at all in the darkness. Yeah, sounds like a good time.

I cannot understand people who willingly go bury themselves...

“Pinky” is such an angel, she always comforts the stuck person, usually for hours. It’s really sweet because she probably knows a lot of these rescues don’t end well and sometimes a soothing woman’s voice is the best thing to calm a man down.

Did I miss something:

There was a field trip with over a dozen students and a few faculty members, the bus got a flat tire...so, on the fly they decide it's a good idea to take these kids into a largely unexplored cave?

Before I pass judgment, did I get that correct?
