Well that's why you always bring extra flashlights for one and glow sticks are wonderful because they don't run on batteries. Not only that but I would have had a very strong physical talking to to that person who had left me alone in the cave.

Dude here in town broke into a bank via brick old chimmney fire place..the chimney narrowed at the bottom. Became stuck, chimney was on complete different floor. He was stuck behind a wall inside a brick chimney. His screams could not be heard..15 years later, the bank decides to renovate that floor and you guess it, they found a skeleton.. he stood there until he died. Hows that for a fucked up way to die

The utter darkness is something that is near to impossible to describe, having caved for years now I've many times turned off my light just to focus on only the noise, basically saying that you might as well have no eyes at all in that amount of light.
