Wolverine NOT Poisoned?

Wolverine NOT Poisoned?

Wolverine’s adamantium did NOT poison Wolverine.

According to this growing theory. We learn at the end of Logan it’s not just the adamantium poisoning slowing down his healing factor but anti-mutant GMOs was planted in corn syrup which is present in much food and when processing alcohol. This is why the next generation of mutants were not born.

Wolverine who is a heavy drinker, subjected himself to these GMOS daily thus slowing down his healing factor. Many of us think it slowed down his healing factor thus making him more vulnerable to adamantium poisoning but, if adamantium is truly indestructible this might be impossible. An indestructible metal could not shed a single molecule let alone poison the bloodstream.

So while the audience and Wolverine are led to believe the metal is what’s poisoning him, it might have just been his diet.

HARD TO SAY. We know Variant Wolverine is over 200 years old with little signs of aging. Maybe there is something here.

This would also explain why the variant Wolverine isn’t aged as much. In his universe, organized mutants were already mostly wiped out, they didn’t need to GMO the food for it. Without that massive systemwide push to eradicate mutation, he was only subjected to his own adamantium… Which didn’t age him much.

Dude you are 100% right! If the metal really was indestructible, or close to it, it shouldn’t be breaking off into his body. Which means that it is probably mostly the gmos.

In the comics the adamantiam poisoning really only in hibited the growth of his mutant powers because after magneto removed them he became more similar to his half brother sabertooth, aka more savage

I thought it was pretty clear in the film that it was the GMOs affecting Logan’s health and the adamantium was not really the cause.

The gmos in water and food killed off the mutants and the strong ones that survived had illnesses opposite their powers. Xavier has old man disease and Logan was not healing. So the adamantium only became poisonous when his powers were damaged by gmos in everything. So yes!!! His health was because of the diet like us!!!!

I believe that his body is trying to reject the adamantium and is using a lot of his healing factor to do so. Stressed healing factor, not exactly poison.

The anti-mutant gmo’s suppressed his healing. Said healing power was later not enough to heal injuries or andamantium poisoning that later affected him. Hence why his claws didn’t come out properly either, im guessing

In comics when magneto ripped off all the adamantium from Logan's body the poisoning stopped and Wolverine's body started to take out his true potential of his healing and other abilities. He started growing more muscles and hair turning himself into an animal. He couldn't even control his anger like the Hulk. So there might be a chance of adamantium poisoning him.

While poisoning is one theory, it has already been established in the early 2000s that adamantium is foreign to the body, and the body has been attempting to reject it for a long time. This rejection process is why aging was accelerated after the introduction of adamantium. Anti-mutant GMOs were only introduced around 2020s.

My theory is Yashida stole too much of Wolverine's power in the 2013 film using Silver Samurai armor that's why old age effects catches up to him very soon in LOGAN.

You are the first guy who did a video or a short on Wolverine that mentioned that the non mutant anti GMOs thank you

makes it more poetic I think. He didnt know. but he drank like someone ready to die

If i remember right his body is trying to reject the adamantium which isnt exactly poisoning him just slowing his mutant growth, in the comics when magneto removed it he became more savage like sabertooth

It was the gmos he's been fighting poisoning for years. Plus, in the Wolverine movie, his healing factor was heavily nerfed, but he didn't drop from the metal, and by all means, he should have.

Subscribed my good sir because I’ve actually stated that in each one of these videos like this because the anti mutant therapy attacks the X gene directly Wolverine long life span just shows it because through the use of his mutant power set as I’m sure a lot of other mutants probably did in various other ways like in the comics (legacy virus) but we didn’t get to see in the film only difference is Wolverine is a bit of a different case 😊👍🏽😞

The scientist in Logan pretty much confirmed this too when he said “my intention wasn’t to wipe you out but control you” which was in reference to the corn syrup

You just also touched on what I thought since I was 8 years old adamantium is indestructible therefore it cannot shed any molecules into Wolverine's body I've always thought this theory was garbage and now I confirmed it

Aside from this Logan also is not getting feral when adamantium is not in his body yet. Which in comic, by poisoning wolverine, stopped his mutation progression

I never understood how a non-reactive metal could be poisonous, unless it has powerful catalytic properties like platinum
