Thank you all for watching my longest skit to date! A whole 2 minutes!

The masochism, the work-release program, the gaslighting, the random Jonathan intubating... This short has *all* of the boxes checked, bravo!

Shout-out to the Tonys and Jonathans keeping our global healthcare services afloat. Thank you for your service

“Is that an ophthalmologist scribe intubating a patient?”, laughed out loud at that one. Jonathan does good work.

At this point I do the nod with Jonathan whenever he comes on-screen, lmao

*ICONIC* ✨

I just love how Jonathan is this ray of sunshine amidst all the gloom and depression.

If not a doctor you certainly could have been an actor with a shelf full of awards at your home. The expression and dialogue delivery are impeccable....

My dad has been in the ICU for 85 days, over these days, I've learned how underappreciated these critical care nurses and doctors are for the amazing work they do.

It's great to see the evolution of how much the critical care doc appreciates Johnathon over the series.
Can we also recognize that Johnathon exudes such an intense aura that the guy was able to immediately identify him as an ophthalmologist's scribe without ever meeting him?
Incredible.

Being married to a pulmonary and critical care Dr., the bit about gaslighting is so incredibly true. We've even had family members who have stopped speaking to us because they are so invested in the minimizing of the pandemic. And that's without us even really challenging them on it or anything. It's been a really awful aspect of the past two years to have to defend yourself on top of the already awful realities of trying to fight this pandemic.

How to ace your critical care interview in 2022:
Interviewer: Are you willing to work in the ICU?
Candidate: Yes.
Interviewer: You're hired.

I will never understand the people who keep calling this pandemic fake despite the overwhelmed healthcare workers talking about the flood of dying patients. Thank you to all the doctors, nurses and techs hanging in there despite overwhelming odds.

I loved the " you can be honest with me " part, it reminded me of when i was an intern at the icu and the attendant - looking exhausted as ever- approached me and said : you can be honest with me, are you happy in life ?
That made me question my entire existence 😅

As a fellow scribe, you'd be shocked at what the doctors let us do in the ER now because of how understaffed we are.

Thank you so much Will. As a pulm cc doc this hires home but let’s not forget having to sit and apologize or tell families that they have to choose only two people to come in and spend the last minutes with their loved one. Yep that after having trouble shot disasters all day and watched amazing nurses and health professionals leave the icu in droves

0:36 - my dad worked mental health ICU for years and has honed the ability to sleep wherever and whenever he wants. If he stays still for long enough he'll just sleep. It's honestly amazing.

God bless our medical workers! This is my favorite skit yet. I used to slap myself in the face all the time as a kid (my older brother was the one doing it with my own hand). Of course he exhorted me each time to “stop slapping yourself”. Your impression brought back fond memories. Incidentally, I am also a masochist and would choose critical care if i were a doc. Loved this new skit; I’ve seen your entire repertoire repeatedly (not in a creepy way). They’re my go-to for cheering up on a bad day.

Excellent. Loved how you worked in the general public gaslighting those working in Critical care. For real! Love your work.
