Brian Cox, the renowned physicist and science communicator, eloquently explains general relativity and the curvature of space-time, illustrating how massive objects like planets and stars warp the fabric of the universe. He captivates audiences with his ability to simplify complex concepts, demonstrating that gravity is not just a force but a result of this curvature. Cox often uses engaging analogies, such as a heavy ball placed on a stretched rubber sheet, to visualize how objects interact within this curved space. His passion for science shines through as he discusses the implications of general relativity on our understanding of the cosmos, time, and the very nature of reality itself.

I see Brian Cox, I listen. He explains, I understand. But I never really understand.

a super thin rubber sheet is an awesome item to used to show how it works

It's not exactly like a ball on a sheet. It's like a ball on a four dimensional sheet. The sheet implies gravity pulling from one direction. A four dimensional sheet would be pulling matter from the inside out. So the Sheet is more like an 'ether' with power to pull.

Nobody puts energy and matter in space time.they all come out of space time
