This is the real difference between a hero and a villain: responsibility. Spot blames everything on Miles and accepts no responsibility for working with known supervillains and delving into unethical science. Everything is on Miles, not him. But Miguel. All he wanted was to have a family and be happy. Be a father to a lonely child, and find some fulfillment outside of his duties. And he destroys an entire dimension. The thing Miguel is missing is that in Pavitr’s universe, The Spot opened that massive black hole that’s unraveling Mumbattan. However, in the world Miguel destroyed, everyone and everything just glitched out of existence. Miguel was never meant to be Spider-Man in that universe and that’s why it collapsed. If anything, Miguel is the original anomaly, not Miles. For Miles, the cannon events for both versions of himself did happen but they happened in reverse based on Miguel’s logic. Technically, Miles from earth 42 was supposed to become Spider-Man and Miles from earth 1610 was supposed to become the Prowler. Miles’ father’s death already happened. The cannon already came to pass, but it happened to the version of Miles who is now the Prowler.

In miles position, i cant blame the other spiders for trying to think of the larger picture. But the idea of everything being set in stone when he himself is an anomaly is wild. Miles existence essentially proves that life isnt set in stone. And a great spider-man once said “ What’s important is not standing by and letting someone suffer or die because you do nothing. If you don’t get that, you dont get the first thing about being spider-man.” True, they cant always save everyone, but that doesnt mean you dont try.
