Now it creates two configuration files: "configuration-Office365-x86" and "configuration-Office365-x64" YOU MUST remove one of them (it doesn't matter which one you chose) and rename it to "configuration" This procedure is for both Office 2019 and Office 2016.

Hi there, i just wanted to install my Office 2016 with your Tutorial. But unfortunately an Error pops up every time i wanted to use the XML-File. After some retries, i recognized some AppIDs no longer exist. Here is my last, working attemp (Word+Excel only):

make sure the command line code has the correct configuration file name, by default ms office deployment tool configuration file is named

configuration-Office365-x86
configuration-Office365-x64

.\setup.exe /configure configuration.xml <-- look at the configuration file name is different than the default.

.\setup.exe /configure <- use this for 64 bit system

.\setup.exe /configure <- use this for 32 bit system

Took me a while to figure out that, in addition to changing the contents of the configuration file, you also have to rename the file 'configuration' <:-}

Thank you very much!!! 👍 i wasted hours try to get this done but this 2min video gets job done. Why did MS removed this important feature from the installer. Previous installer were much better allowed to customize every aspect and installation location.

Try adding this line only in Windows Powershell ".\setup.exe /configure (I chose x64)

How would I make this work on a download of Office 365 ProPlus acquired through a organization's licensing?

It worked fine in my desktop (Windows 7 Pro).

But it is not working in my laptop (Windows 10 Pro).

I'm getting this message
"Office Couldn't install. We're sorry, we can't continue because we weren't able to download a required file.
Error Code: 30182-1015(2)"

I tried 2 times, both times above message appeared. On 3rd try it installed everything from Office 2016.
So I completely uninstalled it and tried again.

Now the error message keeps poping up.
I tried with Powershell and with Command Prompt.

Internet connection is fine. I'm using Ethernet cable, not wifi, just to be on the safe side.

What is the problem?
What can I do?

Download the original Office 2016 Pro plus from your patreon page. But still could not get custom installation. Giving error "Couldn't install"

Hey bro, im useing office 365. When im downloading the install im getting only 1 exe file (not iso with 3 files like on your video) and i think its not working just because of that. I cant go thru the link u posted cuz im useing my dads office 365 from his work. Its called office suit i think. Do you mb know what should i do or someting ?
