Tucker Carlson reveals why he interviewed Putin: Extended conversation | Cuomo

Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, in part one of a wide-ranging conversation with NewsNation anchor Chris Cuomo, explained why he decided to do a widely-criticized interview with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Overall, what Carlson said he learned from the interview is that Russia “is an extremely complicated political environment.”

“These are the people who dominate world chess, and so their politics are incomprehensible to me — so what’s actually happening? I mean, I’ve been in a lot of countries and covered a lot of stuff abroad, and the one thing I’ve learned is you actually don’t really know what’s going on,” he said.

oh man Chris and Tucker chatting is a GREAT convo! You see the many facets of both people and I think that's so important today more than ever. I don't agree with Tucker and I felt he was a bit soft on Putin and his views on russia were a bit odd but I'd still love to chat with him and Chris is just the GOAT

They'd rather the people who can afford higher prices keep doing so and lock those consumers in than worrying about people who switch brands for affordability. Cause those customers were never reliable for the bottom line anyway. But the people who spend more effects the people who cant because higher prices will never offset lower demand.
