This just shows a man growing up mid-statement.

That is how all of us act

He referred to himself as white and his comments were directed to white people. Why would this be a problem?

Not sure what was wrong with his texts? He just texted his thoughts back and forth.

So they are trying to make him humanized?

The same people who call Tucker evil are the same who called the riots “peaceful protests “😂 Think about it...

As a Mex/American conservative from Los Angeles, I agree with Tucker 96% of the time, that's 24X more than anyone on NBC or MSNBC.

So he realized that through combative thoughts about someone based on political leanings, he paused and thought that was dehumanizing a person. It make me like him more.

I didn’t know about Tucker Carlson, I absolutely agree with him and his political news. I will follow Tucker in whatever he does from now on, thank you for sharing this.

That actually sounds like an profound epiphany and makes me hate him less

What?? That text shows his humanity and ability to empathize with someone, despite the fact that the person likely hates him. I’ve had thoughts like that too where I see myself rooting for people I politically align with humiliate political opponents in debates and, yes, even getting delight seeing political opponents in pain or having family and personal issues, followed by immediate shame and guilt for thinking like that.

I hate that I have some of that in me and after catching myself I’m horrified. I don’t want to see anyone suffer or humiliated, I just want a fair, peaceful and free society where our humanity matters more than political leanings.

It should be illegal to release private text message like this today show is disgraceful

Everyone has had dark thoughts but we dare not voice them for fear of retribution. Obviously, Fox nurtured an environment in which Tucker felt safe to speak those thoughts.

Most people embedded on the left or right have angry thoughts about the people on the other side. Tucker's text message frankly shows that he is more empathetic towards the other side than 80-90% of us.

He was taken off the air for telling too much truth. There's no if's ands or butts about it...

Is that it? Well fox really knows best...he's already too mature for them.

His statement was privately exposing his thoughts and he has never acted on any of them. He has never shown any racism or misogyny and he is honest and direct, not a joke like most people in media. He is also objective.

That's a perfectly reasonable text message. Libs should support it
