Vladimir Putin tells Tucker Carlson US should stop arming Ukraine to end war

Rambling two-hour talk with Tucker Carlson, a Trump-supporting rightwing commentator, was Russian president's first with a western media outlet since Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022.

'If you really want to stop fighting, you need to stop supplying weapons. It will be over within a few weeks,' Putin said. He accused the US and the west of prolonging the war and singled out Boris Johnson, claiming that as British prime minister he dissuaded Zelenskiy from signing a peace deal in the early stages of the war

If the guardian News would stop puting their captions and interpretation on the interview and propangada we would all appreciate it.

Not even sure why I’m watching this from The Guardian. I gotta find a real news outlet that doesn’t stick their interpretation on the screen as I’m listening.

Here in the comments, there are people from all over the world - from America, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Latvia, Greece, France, China, and many many others. We are all humans and we all want peace! Let's unite in the name of peace. We have families, loved ones, and friends whom we cherish. Let's prevent a potential global (nuclear) war and save our world together!
The world's population is over 8 billion people, let's not leave politicians to decide the fate of our lives!

We want Peace!

Everyone should watch the actual interview in its entirety and draw their own conclusions themselves.

So i guess we all now know who controls BBC n guardian in the UK. Reminds me of "V for vendetta". Best to watch the full interview from the original source

Thanks, The Guardian, for sharing these very short parts of this amazing interview! Just a note for next time: no need to put your captions and interpretations on the interview, i think we – the audience – can interpret it ourselves just fine without you ;)

Do not learn about the interview from news organizations like this. Watch the full interview yourself.

Is that it Guardian?
It was over 2 hours and pretty educational.
I hope everyone watches the full video and gets a decent appreciation of both sides.

Guardian editors considered adding laugh track and trombone music, but settled with patronising headlines.

I’m just here to say I don’t trust anything Guardian say! Watch the whole video!!

The beginning of the full interview is long, but important. Most Americans have no idea of the history of Russia.

The two hours watching was time well spent. No wonder the mainstream media is panicking. Make up your own mind.

People, DO NOT WATCH THESE CLIPS.. listen to the whole interview

The Guardian really do think people will just look at their edited version. That’s how much contempt they hold us in.

Having watched the full 2hr interview, the audience was truly at the mercy of Tucker's short attention span. Just look at how often he interrupted Putin, only to be told, "if you let me finish, I was about to get to that". Why can these journalists not simply ask a question and let the answer be returned in its entirely? Even if you have a retort, atleast let the man get his answer out before you start talking over him like a child.

Someone inform the Guardian they aren't wearing any clothes.

Taking an interview & editing parts of it together to make a version that does represent what what was actually said is the most disingenuous things possible
