Veneers cannot replace missing teeth, veneers are like contact lens. Veneers are basically used to change any size shape, discolouration present on the tooth. So to place a veneer, the tooth has to be present. So if the tooth is missing, veneers cannot bee used. If it is a missing tooth, then the tooth has to be replaced with implants or fixed partial dentures or removable partial dentures. Veneers cannot be used in such cases.
