1. Prepare

- DC11 : Running Windows Server 2012 R2

- a DVD install OS Windows Server 2012 R2

2. Step by step : Reset Administrator's password (forgot password)

- Insert DVD to server

- DC11 : Reset Administrator's password

+ You forgot password and logon fail

+ Boot to DVD - Next - Repair your computer - Troubleshoot - Command Prompt, type :

+ X:\Sources D: # Maybe C:

+ D:\Dir # Check folders

+ D:\cd Windows

+ D:\Windows\cd System32

+ D:\Windows\System32\ Shutdown -r -t 0 # Restart

+ Click 'Ease of access'

+ Logon using new password === OK

you can do windows key +U to get the cli window after the reboot. I got stuck at that point

What can I do if utilman.exe doesn't exist? Even after copy it from cmd.exe, after reboot it doesn't appear.

This method doesn't work anymore as I can't see D:\Windows or System32 folders in the D drive after inserting the windows server 2012 R2 disc.
