How to glue any Smartphone/Tablet screen that fell off

In this video I'm going to show you how to put and stick back any screen that fell off of your Phone, Tablet, Laptop, Netbook or about any screen that has been popped out.

Norman33 yes it's normal for it to stick up at the edges, especially when using tape. the factory uses a rubber gasket that goes all the way around the screen (and they melt it on with a heat gun) otherwise people usually buy a plastic hard case for their phone/tablet to press down the edges.

Here's a tip! Double-Sided tape can be a little hard to find, so you can just take normal regular Duct Tape, rip off a small poece, and fold the tape. When you fold the tape the sticky sides should be facing up both ways. So when you do it, sticky side on the bottom of the inside, and sticky side on the top of the inside, then press it down and it's good! You're welcome!

just buy B-7000 glue and add some arround the frame... easier and you wont dmg the lcd if you want to remove. Easy to remove it with some hot air around 100-120 temp..

Good advise! people do tend to use super glue which could be very harmful when applied in the wrong place.

I just had the top falling off, so I lifted it a bit, put double sided tape on both sides from the center, and pressed it down.
I didn't want to mess with glue, and also didn't want any tape to be visible, and it holds, so, yaaay.

Well I am glade I found your video for the past 2 years we have been weatherizing our windows and had left over double sided tape. I also considered using bathroom sealant (rubber compound which sticks to ceramic and glass).

Thanks for the updated info, I ended up using duct tape just to prevent further lifting, then I found these mobile phone fix people at my local shops who were going to fix it properly with that mp glue for $10.00 the guy popped the back off and the battery was bulging! He said this was why the front was lifting. New battery and resealed for $55.00 bargin, problem solved. Thanks again.

Should we change the tape every month? Tapes do get loose overtime

ive tried b6000 b7000. they are an option but i dont recommend. they dont hold good. after awhile comes loose. but at least no damage done. hardware store silicone worked better. but im going back to tape with tape in as many places including the middle to help hold down.
