How to make the Apple 24" Cinema Display work in Windows

I should note here, that now it works perfectly. I just downloaded the newest version, and I set it to start automatically, when win10 starts. I can now adjust the brightness perfectly. Also, I made the front and rear connectors on my apple Mac Pro cabinet A1289 work as well. It's running PC internals. I since then changed the monitor to be the 27" version of the same Apple Cinema monitor. Works really well. It have higher resolution and faster responstime as well as lower latency. The monitors microphone, 3 usb ports on the rear, louspeakers and webcam works as well with win10.
Regarding my own former question if the Thunderbolt version of said monitors work with win10, I can say no. So, I stick to the Cinema series. And since the 27" is pretty big and have that higher spec, I am very satisfied with the result. In essence: it can work.

I'm looking into building a workstation PC but I wanted to save some money and use my 27-inch, Late 2014 iMac as a screen and invest it into better hardware. Are there any other things to consider to get everything to work well together?

Hello ! I will receive tomorrow from a neighbor an Apple HD Cinema Display model A1082. Do you think that i can use this display trough a hdmi-dvi adaptor ? I have currently a laptop with win 10, i dont have a mackbook since i am a student with a low budget. What advice could you give me ?

Oh well, I cannot seem to make brightness control software to work. It says it requires Microsoft .NET framework 4, 5 to be installed, but it already is. What could be done?

I have a question, i have this display but i dont know if it works or not!if i only plug in 220v, screen have to show some signal or only the black screen!?

I'd like to ask if this only works for certain types of Apple Cinema displays and only for the 24" size, or it will work for the larger 27" as well?
Also, I think I read that the Thunderbolt models won't work with pc's?
I hope you can help out, before I go buy something wrong ;) (It's going to be used with my new Mac Pro to PC build, that I am doing right now.
