How to change RAM speed in BIOS | Enable XMP on Asus BIOS

In this video i will show you how you can change your system's RAM speed. I have Corsair Vengence RAM 3200 Mhz, Asus motherboard and Intel Processor. It is a quite straight forward process that requires you to select the XMP profile from your Asus BIOS.

At the end i will explain you a way to troubleshoot any problem that you might get into while overclocking your RAM.

For those with booting problem
1. Make sure your ram stick are in second and fourth slot from cpu!
2. Make sure your cpu support same speed as ram stick and what is the maximum ram speed for your cpu!

Actually got it to work on my DDR5 32GB (x2 16GB) Corsair Vengeance. It was automatically set to 4800MHz when my max RAM speed was 6000MHz. Sorted it with no issues. Cheers

I did it today but i just enabled xmp in the bios home. Checking with cpu-z and hwinfo my ram is running at max speed now. It is different the way you've shown in the video?

i have intel i7 8700K Processor with ASUS Z390-F Gaming Motherboard and Ram 8GB x 02 of 3000 Mhz
but few days ago my old motherboard not working and i have planned new Purchasing board as available in market only 8th Gen Board Gigabyte H310M
but i noticed there is only 2666mhz ram supported for this board.
can i Purchased this board for my old RAMs 8GB x02 3000 Mhz. it will work for new board ?
