Just built this myself. Dragging the back half on the ground like that will scrape the paint off and encourage corrosion. To store, fold the back half over the front and secure it, stand the whole thing up via the tongue, then fold the tongue down and secure it; reverse to unfold (tongue, drop trailer, back half). Cheers!

Thanks for the video. My husband passed away a few months ago. I wasn't sure if I could unfold and refold the trailer. Pretty sure I can handle it now.

Your method is great, I had been folding in half first then lifting up the front after which is super heavy. Needless to say your way is much easier. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the video! Youve taken out all the mystery of the portability, opening, and storing the trailer. I couldn't help but laugh at the name of the channel. 😂 Subscribed.

My dad had this trailer for nearly 20 years before rusting out to NY road salt. I have had my trailer now for nearly 15 years.

Add two caster wheels to the tail end of the trailer so it doesn’t drag as you’re folding it

I like folding technique. What I also liked was the "D" rings you added to the sides.

Your method works great if you don't have a license plate. I'm guessing you only use it for local farm use or something lien that. I do need a plate, so I modify your method by placing some blocks under the rear so it will never touch the ground or scrape the plate. Tricky to keep it from sliding off the blocks, you just gotta keep it all steady, but it works. I'm going to make a small stand for the rear soon to help with folding. Amazing trailer for the price!

I just built the Super Duty this weekend. The hinge plate mounting holes nearest the pivot point are elongated, allowing a full 2" between the front & rear frame when folded. You might want to see if yours are round or elongated on your medium duty model. If they're round, you'd have to modify them. But if they're elongated, then be sure to tighten the bolts only when they're pushed to the maximum clearance.

I should have NO problem folding mine with 3/4" plywood. Maybe because it was built in Dec 2020 (from the tag) they might have modified it at the factory to address this common complaint.
