My English budgie is a chatter box! He talks so much and he screams too! He is so loud and active, the total opposite of what you describe here! My Australian budgie learned all his speech’s from my English and learned all his squeaks from my English too. They are so dramatic! But my Australian budgie is more calmer in general.

I have an English called Geoffrey He is on the quiet side, but I encourage him to fly around x He is very sweet and about 1.5 years old now xx He is green and yellow xxx Struggling to get him to eat veg and fruit, but keep trying x I also bath him in warm water, as he will not bathe himself...have tried a few different methods. I usually place him in a sink with some warm water and let him run around. I am not sure why he does not bathe himself, (if I put a bowl in the cage etc), I think because he was aviary-bred, and never learned how to do it, or he just does not really like water maybe ?? It is warm here in Australia, so I bath him on a warm day, and put him outside to dry off, and gently use a towel etc if inside. I am not sure of his life before we met, maybe that is the reason he wont eat fresh, as he was never offered fresh food as a baby etc.
