“Closing the armpit” was the cue that helped me! 4 years old and still very useful.

Mind muscle conecction with the lats was damn hard for me. A cue I use with every friend/client is press your shoulders down and then pull, works 90% of times

Just watch a video from an Erin vid that explains very little. Thus was a simple vid that explained enough that I learned a simple at home experiences I can do!!! Ty ty ty.
Been working my presses so my V taper is getting smaller but now I have hope!

I just found out my lats weren't activating. I've been doing that very excercise & side straight arm pull downs too because I strained my distal biceps tendon, trying to get a pull up. Is it common for someone with an extra long torso to have trouble activating lats?

So serious question, when I do these, it hurts the back of my biceps, I think that would be my triceps? It isn't an ache or soreness for working them, it's a sharp pain, immediately in my left side, but takes about 10 reps or so and I get the same feeling in my right side. But the pain stops just a couple minutes when I am done. Thoughts? Fight through it cause their weak? Torn muscle? I have no idea.
