I'm old school finisher and this looks like to much work for me, but some of my crews have big knife they use like that but not quite as big..looks smooth though good job.

How do you like those ? We never used them, even when doing a level 5 finish on an entire high rise.

One thing we would do that is similar, is when we had a column 2-3’ per side, we would apply a ton of mud with our knife on both corner beads and in between and then use a piece of metal stud from the framers and actually make the column flat.

It gave a much better look than just finishing the corners.

I started doing this because once they put the base on the bottom of the column, you could see it was curved and needed fill in the middle.
