Incredibly helpful. I got my chr excel two days ago. Didn’t know it had parking assist until I asked the dealer what that button was for. He dismissed it saying he was ‘old school’ and had never used it. I imagined it was only for parallel parking but now I’m so excited to learn it also does bay parking which I’m hopeless at. Thank you so much.

This is excellent... lots of people hating calling this feature useless. these are guys with older, often dilapidated model cars or overhyped overpriced European or american cars that don't have this feature.. congrats Toyota.. another tiny feature that makes my life a little bit better

Parallel park assist looks pretty good. The perpendicular park was ridiculous non-value-add.

Tried the perpendicular parking on my drive and it ploughed me forward into an hedge. It's all too much hassle and takes too long. The parallel parking is certainly not something you could try along a busy street.

I would rather park the car myself than using this auto park function. This auto park mode seems like it requires to give instruction for every step.
