You may win by setting a handle to those drawers so there are effectively tools to open those. Here, they have to hit it hard and hope for the best, a lot is left to randomness, so it's more difficult to learn the "proper" way and even when you find a proper way, it may not work every time.

I have befriended a few hooded crows which come to my balcony for their (luxury) meals (i.e. they stay there in my presence while eating whereas the non-befriended crows just quickly steal their meal and fly away with it). I intend to offer them some puzzles later this year, too.
