If you haven’t already gotten Apple Intelligence, I wouldn’t bother. Yet.

It’s currently ONLY available for iPhone 15 pro models and all iPhone 16 models updated to the latest iOS. You have to signup for a waitlist (which, took an hour for me to be “approved”). Also, you can ONLY use it if you have your phone’s language set to English (US).

Wait until December when ALL (or, at least most of) the features are released.

I have the iPhone 14 and it has the latest software update, but I can’t use Apple Intelligence or I don’t know how

apple intelligence would only be useful if it worked like alexa, for example ask it to take a picture or play a certain type of music or open this app and search

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max downloaded the new iOS point one in series is the same way. I’ve gone to the Apple Intelligence thing and it said there is a waiting list and I will be notified when available.

I get not using Siri on calls because the microphone is in use, but you should be able to use type to Siri while on a phone call

I am confused by one thing that I keep seeing with AI - type to Siri. I had this in iOS 17 by just holding the power button. What’s “new” with this in iOS 18?

This is great and all, but i just want a reliable working Siri on iphone 16 pro max. Voice activated Siri is so faulty. Sometimes it works most of the times it doesn’t.
