I recommend putting a few ladders on the outer wall one block above the ground, and an opening on the roof covered with a trapdoor. Mobs don't know that they can climb ladders, and they only climb ladders if they are pushed against it. They are even more ignorant of the fact that you need to jump to climb a ladder 1 block above ground, so a 1-block-above-ground ladder is almost guaranteed to prevent mobs from following you.
Then you can leave the bunker through the front gate, immediately open the trapdoors. Then after attracting a large group of zombie pigmans, jump up the ladder and go down through the hole in the roof, then close the trapdoor on the roof for extra safety.

One quick thought: slab the interior of your base so you don't come back from ticking one off and discover they've spawned INSIDE your base. Great simple design!

Useful tutorial highlighting the pigmen mechanics. I found that adding a dripstone spike at the bottom of the drop at 8 blocks deep and you will have one hit kills. I also added an iron door with button on the side of my hut to avoid missing the jump and getting killed. Still died a bunch of times, put your gear in a chest before using this farm haha.

I really love your tutorials because they are simple and to the point... however here is something that I suggest to improve upon. Please be more specific. For example, at 2:27 you said "dig down like two or three blocks". I would like to know exactly how many blocks to dig down even if there is more than one correct way. Other than that, really good job man, I see your channel growing a lot more in numbers in the near future!

I needed a gold farm. I have a stronghold around 2500 blocks away from my main settlement, and no way am I constantly making that trek by foot. So I need a load of gold for a long minecart rail.
