I built his 1.17 gold farm that is very similar (but was wider). Was an absolute beast for gold and XP (trident killer instead of fall damage killer). You can't go wrong with this man's gold farms.

Please make sure fire spread is on while using this farm otherwise the lava won't recognise to set alight to the trap doors

First gold farm. Dropped them off at the end of portal right into trident killer and this thing puts in work. Prepare for a storage system. Love all his farms. Mans saving bedrock edition

I recommend instead of digging down 22 blocks dig down 20 so you can use your looting 3 sword to get more loot

Nice and easy farm ... just a tip - the zombie piglins always spawn on the positive side of X or Z, so you don't have to perform a test

If you want to get xp from this farm, make the kill chamber (where the hopper is) at the point at which you can punch the pigmen to death (a sword with mending also would work, you can put looting on for even more drops.) Then, instead of a glass block at the bottom, put a slab so you can punch them. If you don’t want to manually punch, put a hard to mine block on the other side of the slab so you don’t break the block. Then, find a way to keep your character punching without you hitting the button. For a controller, us a rubber band to hold down the punch button. For windows, assign your punch button to one of the random unassigned keys and put something on top of it. I hope this helps make the farm more efficient, and once again, great video! Only thing I'd do differently is use a trident killer + looting 3 and add an item sorter that sends the swords directly to an auto smelter. Pro Tip: have a handful of cleric villagers stationed close by to sell the rotten flesh to, so this doubles as an emerald farm ;)

Pro tip: use a sticky piston and building block and lever to hold them one block higher to turn it in to an infinite xp grinder :)
