As someone who deal with the Liquid Metal dry spots issue on the APU on my PS5 and overheating and turning off, I am very happy to see the grooves in the Liquid Metal heatsink.

A friend of mine has a slim one, he always had it horizontal and it would shut off due to overheating. What I investigated is that liquid metal sometimes oxidizes when mixed with oxygen and that causes exposed areas and causes overheating.

I like that the blades on both fans have enough space between each other to reach down with a Q-Tip. I cleaned a friends PS4 Pro yesterday and it was a pain to get all the dust out from between the blades.

Accessibility is big thing for PS5 owners who like to keep their console clean since the only removable stuff was the plates and fan for cleaning . Dust would accumilate on the heat sink which was buried within the base model. I'm so glad they've changed that with Pro with easy to access components and improved air flow that should prevent overheating.

I really love your video on the teardown of both consoles the PlayStation 5 Pro and the PlayStation 5 Slim. I really like the approach Sony is taking on their new design of these consoles and offering you a friendly repairability environment. The only major issue that's probably going to affect certain people with the PlayStation 5 Pro is a fact that even though it offers easier access to the battery with less digging over the slim. The main Nation would be the disc drive at $699. It should have come with a disk drive because you're already paying such a premium price and then you have to drop $70 for the compact disc drive. I ended up trading in my original fat PlayStation for the slim version as I got a real good deal from my local Best Buy and to me in my personal opinion is the better deal. Although it doesn't have the same power and performance of the pro. It's the better deal because you are getting the astrobot bundle with the disk drive already installed in it. So you can put all your physical games in there without spending an extra 70, although they should have include the vertical stand for free inside both the slim and the pro. But I do find the pro extremely expensive
