How can I add a box/section/cell range...I don't know the proper term - but - I want to create a section at the top of the spreadsheet where: Name, Age, Blank, Blank can ge entered and remain frozen there. Do you have any videos about how to link specific cells together? I'm very new to all of this. I'm trying to link some check boxes together so when I check one box in a column it will automatically check other boxes in diffierent rows in that same column and vise versa. I want to make this happen with several columns each check box in the cloumns are linked to the check boxes in the rows below. The boxes are only linked to the boxes in the same column though. does that make sesnse? Sorry, I'm not really good at explaining things very well.

Hi Tasia I am usually pretty good with google sheets I had combined 4 columns and when I go =sum(c15-c18) it is off by one number it gives me 24

Could you help with this?: I want to filter on two columns. Where Column C is Blank or Column C contains only a comma; and Where column D contains either the word Red, Green, or Yellow. How do I accomplish this? Also, can I add on one more thing, after you filter on C and D, in Column F I want to take the first 4 letters of the text in Column F.

Hi Tasia, great demo ....but....how do I embed a formula into a cell so that it does not delete when I delete the 'data' in that same cell? Girl, , it's so frustrating! Question No.2. : I create a formula in a cell that adds the contents of two other cells and places the sum of them in it's cell. The formula shows up as: #DIV/0! with a tiny arrow in the top right corner of the cell, giving me an error message. The tiny arrow should appear in the top left corner of the cell, not to get the error message appearing. HELP!!

HELP! I need a formula for google sheets. I have multiple columns that will sometimes have dates in them. I need column "O"'s formula to subtract from the date in column "M" the date in column "L" if there is a date in it, if not the date in column "K" if there is a date in it, and if not the date in Column "J". There will always be a date in "L, K, or J" if there is a date in Column "M" and may have a date in multiple columns but I only need it to subtract from the one with the date in the order specified. Can anyone help me with this?
