The average work-week is about 40 hours for most people... so, is doubling that to 80 hours in residency STILL not enough to train a doctor? Today we're going to be looking at a Harvard article called "Is an 80 hour work-week enough to train a doctor?" As a final year med student, I'll also give some of my thoughts regarding the current work hours for when I start residency this summer
